International email callback.
This type of callback means that in order
to trigger a call you will need to send email. It is very similar to SMS
callback by its nature. This kind of service will help in the situation
when you cannot send short text message (SMS) directly from your mobile
phone and also when there is no roaming between your mobile network with
the network where our SMS Callback gateway installed, so you cannot send
messages to it. But now you can just compose a new email on your
desktop PC, PDA or mobile phone and trigger a callback call to you.
Another option is the use of SMS-to-Email gateway to send your email as
a usual SMS message from your mobile phone.
How to use Email Callback:
Step 1.
Compose new email message with the body:
p <account ID> <pin code> sn <source number> dn <destination number>
Where:
Account ID
- Account ID in Telequant service
but entered without prefix 01.
PIN code
- VoIP password.
Source number
- phone number you are calling from.
Destination number
- phone number you are calling to.
All phone numbers must
be entered in international format including country code,
city code and telephone number. Here is an example of correct phone number in New York:
12125556677, where 1 is a country code of USA, 212 is a city code of
New York and 5556677 is a telephone number.
No characters like plus (+), hyphens (-) or prefixes like 00 or 011 must be
used in phone
numbers!
Here is an example for the call from phone number 391234567890 in Italy
to the phone number 54987654321 in Argentina. Let's assume that your
Account ID is 01235737835 and VoIP password is 3616. Then the
command to establish this call will look like this one:
p 235737835 3616 sn 391234567890 dn 54987654321
Step 2.
Subject line can be left empty or whatever you like, it does not matter.
Step 3.
Finally send email message to the Email Callback gateway address.
call@telequant.com
In a few seconds you will receive incoming
call to the source number you entered in your email. When you answer the call, the system will
connect you with the destination phone number entered in your email
message.
